Palm Beach Post – Best Restaurants Right Now

The Best Restaurants in Palm Beach right now

Recently Liz Balmaseda  the Palm Beach Post Food Editor listed the BEST restaurants in Palm Beach “right now”:  We are sharing the post here but if you want to read the original post please click the link below:

http://www.palmbeachpost.com/business/small-business-saturday-selection-palm-beach-county-shops/JLyD2M0G3Nzrs8cB1SuCKI/

Here’s a current snapshot of restaurants in Palm Beach we’re loving best at the moment. Next month, the snapshot might be different.

This list includes only restaurants we have visited.

Costa
Costa’s branzino is baked in a salt crust, presented tableside, then filleted. The restaurant is located in Palm Beach’s Esplanade plaza.  The salt-crusted branzino at this newish Mediterranean restaurant is one of the most delicious bites we’ve had this year. Tucked into the second floor of the 150 Worth shopping plaza, Costa is a beauty. But its obscure location may be keeping one of Palm Beach’s best kept secrets off the radar. Here’s a good reason to put it in your GPS soonest: Chef David Valencia’s outstanding dishes, from Greek, Turkish and Spanish tapas (the “gambas,” garlic shrimp are a must-have) to seafood-centric dishes to roasted meats. Valet parking is complimentary.
Costa: 150 Worth Ave., Suite 234, Palm Beach; 561-429-8456

Sant Ambroeus
This stylish ristorante and pasticceria, which opened in December, has roots in 1936 Milan and locations in New York City and Southampton. The food here spirits you to a big-city spot in Italy, somewhere where the risotto is dreamy and the fine pastries made fresh each day.
Such luxuries are pricey, but Sant Ambroeus does offer a slightly more affordable café/bar area for a more casual bite. In the dining room, the ambiance shifts with the daylight, from ladies-who-lunch sedate during the day to jacket-clad, Palm Beach buzzy at night. The service is attentive and efficient.
Sant Ambroeus: 340 Royal Poinciana Way, Suite 304, Palm Beach; 561-285-7990

Chez l’Epicier
Just as a grocer’s shop is driven by the harvest, Chef Laurent Godbout’s menu celebrates seasonality. Godbout, who owns and operates the restaurant with his wife, hostess Veronique Deneault, is an exceptional chef whose artistry is reflected in a dish’s heightened flavors as well as stunning looks. His whimsical style is evident from the welcome tray of fresh savory macaroons.
There’s a sense here that one is in good hands. The chef cooks with style and authority.
Chez l’Epicier: 288 S County Rd., Palm Beach; 561-508-7030

Buccan
Whether you stop in for one of chef Clay Conley’s supreme small plates (he’s masterful with raw fish and seafood dishes) or settle in for a 14-ounce, wood-grilled prime New York strip steak and a night of people-watching, you’ve come to the best bistro in Palm Beach. Reservations are a must.
Buccan: 350 S. County Road, Palm Beach; 561-833-3450

Meat Market

Chef Sean Brasel has created a sleek temple of food and drink designed to wow diners beyond the carnivores. Yes, carnivores will find nirvana in a menu that offers a selection of reserve cuts, such as dramatically presented mega-steaks, all tender beneath a gorgeous char.
Meat Market Palm Beach: 191 Bradley Place, Palm Beach; 561-354-9800

Café Boulud
Chef Daniel Boulud’s Palm Beach eatery offers more than a stylish backdrop for dining — it offers some of the best food on the island. Executive chef Rick Mace is a true star, a culinary storyteller who knows how to capture the imagination and palate with food and presentation.

Café Boulud: 301 Australian Ave. (in The Brazilian Court hotel), Palm Beach; 561-655-6060

Palm Beach Post reports: Mar-a-Lago value Jumps 10%

Palm Beach Property Values on the Rise:  Mar-a- Lago’s  Increase compares to Other Palm Beach County Landmarks

The property value in the Palm Beach County area is undoubtedly on the rise.  Yomtob Properties has some of the most stunning, luxurious, comfortable, buildings with highly desirable locations in the Palm Beach County area.  More and more businesses are trying to find a better office – Yomtob Properties has them – for more information – CLICK HERE to head to Yomtob Properties official site.

Palm Beach Post recently ran the story below:

President Donald Trump often crows about the sublime surroundings and topnotch value of his Mar-a-Lago Club, and it seems the folks at the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser’s office agree: Trump’s  winter White House was the rare piece of property to post a double-digit gain in value for 2016.

The property appraiser just posted its market values as of Jan. 1, 2017, and it pegs Mar-a-Lago’s worth at $23.1 million, up 10 percent from last year.

After he won the election, Trump doubled the initial membership fee to $200,000. More recently, though, 20 charities have canceled their fundraisers at the club.

A spot check of 2017 taxable values of some other Palm Beach County landmarks:

  • Town Center Mall in Boca Raton is worth $490 million, up 6.5 percent from 2016.
  • Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens is valued at $318.9 million, up 7 percent.
  • The Breakers in Palm Beach is worth $285.6 million, up 7.5 percent.
  • Boca Raton Resort and Club is valued at $218.5 million, up 9 percent.
  • The Phillips Point office complex in West Palm Beach is worth $162.4 million, up 6.2 percent.
  • The Ziff estate in Manalapan, which is for sale for $165 million, is valued at $83 million, up 6.7 percent.
  • Trump’s Jupiter Golf Club is worth $15.7 million, up 7.3 percent.
  • The now-empty Macy’s store at CityPlace in West Palm Beach is worth $2 million, down 23 percent.

Intriguingly, one rare property to top Mar-a-Lago’s 10 percent gain was the Macy’s store at Town Center in Boca. By the property appraiser’s reckoning, its value rose 10.2 percent, to $17.3 million.
